In this final lesson Sts review Grammar, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation from the whole course, with a special focus on question formation. The lesson is based on an interview Sir Ian McKellen kindly gave to the American English File authors. Sts start by reading the interview and doing some comprehension exercises. They then work on the Vocabulary and Pronunciation, before interviewing each other in the last activity using some of the questions in the questionnaire.

The main context of the lesson is a conversation between a young man and woman about where to go for dinner.
The man has a memory lapse, which provokes an angry reaction in his partner. Their conversation contrasts the present perfect and the simple past in a natural context: Have von been to. ..? When did you go? Why did you go there? The lesson starts with a listening activity inspired by a real episode in an American TV series in which Sts are exposed to both the present perfect (for past experiences) and the simple past. This leads into the grammar focus.
